The CSUN Arts Council offers tours of local exhibits on a regular basis. We have visited the Getty, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and numerous other venues and events throughout the city. Tours are generally free to members, depending on the location. Non-members are welcome on our tours for a small donation, which directly benefits CSUN Arts students. If you would like to be a part of an upcoming tour, click the link in the tour description and the tour coordinator will get back to you with details.

Stay tuned for next semester's tour schedule.

Adamson House, Malibu, CA

A big thank you to our hosts, Jim Sweeters and Michelle Giacopuzzi, for a lovely afternoon in Malibu at the Adamson House.  The day was perfect for touring the grounds, exploring the museum and taking in the unique architecture and interiors of this amazing landmark.

Quilting Exhibition

Recently, Arts Council members visited the Canoga Park Youth Arts Center Gallery where Rita Streimer was displaying over 20 quilts completed by she and her students. She gave us a wonderful overview of the variety of fabrics, stitching and patterns used by each quilter, along with background information on quilt design.
